There's loads of BetterPoints on offer for students not leaving a trace and minimising their carbon footprint in accommodation and across campus.

How can you make a difference?

Take the Sustainability Survey

Take a 5 minute survey to let the University know what you plan to do with your things at the end of the year and get a load of ideas and links on what to do with them. You'll also get 250 BetterPoints for doing it, and the chance to win 50,000 BetterPoints (£50!!)

Use, Recycle or Donate your items at the end of the year

Each time you do any of the following, you'll be entered into a Grand Prize Draw with £400 of BetterPoints to be given away at the end of June AND you'll get BetterPoints each time you do it:

  • Recycle metals (50 BetterPoints / 1 entry into the Grand Prize Draw)

Take your metals to any of the places on this map to scan the QR code and get your BetterPoints and BetterTickets.

  • Donate surplus food (50 BetterPoints / 1 entry into the Grand Prize Draw)

Take your unopened surplus food to the foodbank at Rootes Grocery Store and scan the QR code to get your BetterPoints and BetterTickets.

  • Recycle/donate large items (250 BetterPoints / 5 entries into the Grand Prize Draw)
